Bio
Ceci was born in Córdoba and, though she has lived in 5 different countries and traveled an enormous amount of miles, her heart never left her hometown. Her passion for science began by watching Carl Sagan’s Cosmos, and later fell in love with Quantum Physics. She studied Physics and then got a PhD in Nuclear Science & Engineering, at MIT.
She maintained a close relationship with NGOs all her life, and first got into Project Management in that space. Then she carried that knowledge to academia, working in research centers in Barcelona and Buenos Aires, leading up to a polymorphic role at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires, where she was Deputy Secretary of Research and Head of the Technology Transfer Office, right before coming over to Manas.
Cecilia is most comfortable performing several different roles at once, and has a knack for figuring out how to get things done. Currently in the workings of getting her scuba certification.
