Lens

Problem description

Often, what people need to get from a book is a quick summary of its core idea or main points, and don’t have the time to digest the entire text.

What if we could approach books as an incremental way, from simple to complex?

How the tool solves the problem

Lens is a new way of reading –and writing– books: it begins with the simplest expression of the core idea for the book, and then it expands into further iterations of the idea, making successive points and arguments that build the entirety of the book.

On the reader’s end, the length of the version presented can be modified by adjusting the amount of time one has to read.
