Citta
Problem description
As an organization grows, administrative systems grow in complexity. It can often become such a big part of the day-to-day workload, that it takes attention away from the core of the business.
We wanted a tool that kept track of cash flow, but could also do financial projections, and mostly keep track of necessary actions so nothing important goes unnoticed or overlooked.
How the tool solves the problem
Citta embodies the operating model that keeps Manas functioning. It keeps track of how the organization’s finances are doing, maps potential scenarios to help us make better decisions, generates invoices and expense proposals, and fires alerts whenever any indicator needs our attention. Also, being at the center of our operations, it interacts with various other systems, like Airtable and Brium.
Financial model
We use a Sankey diagram to visualize our finances. This way, we can see the amount of available team hours (billable, non-billable, and hours not worked), taxes, costs (fixed and variable), and our reserves.

Team availability
This is a more detailed visualization of available team hours, into billable, non-billable, idle and exceeded.
