Lessons learned and highlights from the first Crystal Language CodeCamp
Why we are organizing a Crystal CodeCamp, and why you should come!
Here are some of the top moments and achievements that made 2016 a year to remember.
Recap of the presentations and discussions from the second Crystal language meetup in Buenos Aires on May 11th 2016.
Juan & I attended EpiHack Myanmar 2016 in Yangon as facilitators, where we built prototypes for improving the local health surveillance system
Crystal was born in June 2011 when Ary took the challenge to prove if it was possible to have a compiled Ruby-like language. The name back then was “Joy”, though three days later it was changed to Crystal. At first Crystal was just the result of the experiment.
Remember Crystal? Like, that little project of ours that’s completely misrepresented in our own website? Well, fortunately, it seems we’re the only ones doing that - the language just got featured on TheChangelog.
